Our Site inspection service

During 2012 Torch Safety Services has continued to develop and improve their site inspection service, monitoring and reviewing performance is a key part of maintaining good health and safety standards. For 2013 we are to introduce an inspection service that serves to identify and prioritise your key areas for improvement and also the areas of excellence.

 

Site inspection will continue to focus on 18 key operational areas to include:

  • Asbestos
  • Working at Height
  • Edge Protection
  • Plant and equipment
  • Welfare facilities
  • Access and Egress

 

Documentation checks will include

  • Safety Plans
  • Plant and Machinery testing and inspection
  • Method statements / Risk Assessments
  • Induction records
  • Fire and emergency plans
  • Competency checks

 

Inspections can be subject to a percentage scoring criteria or be structured to produce a red, amber, green (RAG) rating dependent on your individual company preference. All inspections will be collated into a summary sheet that will allow your business to focus on areas for improvement and also recognise what you do really well.
